Lab this week is optional in that we will not be taking roll. However, this is an opportunity to come to ensure that you have Python, PyCharm, and PyGame installed and working properly on your laptops. If you do not come to lab, we will assume you have taken care of this yourself and you are ready to go when we start coding in lecture next week. So, if you have any doubts, come on down to lab, meet some of the TAs, and make sure you’re laptop is setup and ready to go!

Pip uninstall pygame Download the right pygame from the right place Windows binaries are from the unofficial site, but they are constantly updated and have always been. All others would have to get them from Pypi, pygame download page (which can be outdated) or from their bitbucket or new Github location. PyGame usually comes installed with the latest Raspbian distribution, but if it isn't you can use the following command to install it: Copy. Sudo apt-get install python-pygame. Test your installation by opening a Python terminal by entering python in a regular terminal and pressing Enter. Now, execute the following command.
